Microsoft Corporation hosts the Site and all related data via its Microsoft Azure services.

For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA): all health data is hosted exclusively on Microsoft Azure servers located in France, operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). 

These servers benefit from the French Health Data Hosting certification, ensuring compliance with the strictest European regulatory requirements for sensitive health data.

For users residing outside the EEA, including the United States and the United Kingdom: data is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers located in the United States. Microsoft implements robust security measures that comply with industry standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications, to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your data. Our infrastructure is designed with security practices aligned with HIPAA technical safeguards.

Regardless of hosting location, all data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), and access is restricted to authorized personnel under strict internal controls.

4. Purpose of the Site and Service Disclaimer

The Site’s purpose is to present and provide access to the BloodSense services. BloodSense is a software solution using artificial intelligence to simplify and explain the content of lab analysis reports (blood, urine, stool), making the results easier for users to understand.

Crucial Medical Disclaimer: The BloodSense service is an informational and educational tool, not a medical device. Therefore, the information it generates does not constitute a medical diagnosis, a medical interpretation, or medical advice. It is never a substitute for a consultation with a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. Only a medical professional can interpret your results in their full medical context. You should never delay seeking professional medical advice or disregard professional medical advice because of information you received through our Service.

The scientific and medical accuracy of our AI-generated explanations is overseen by our independent Scientific and Ethics Advisory Board, composed of qualified healthcare professionals. Their role is strictly limited to health literacy and scientific education — they do not provide diagnostic or therapeutic guidance.

5. Intellectual Property

All elements constituting the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, source code, etc.) and the BloodSense service (software, algorithms, structure of generated reports, AI prompts, medical knowledge base, etc.) are the exclusive property of Smart Medical Care Ltd and are protected by United Kingdom, European Union, United States, and international intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the Site or Service, by any means or process whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of SMC. Any unauthorized use will be considered an infringement and may be subject to legal action.
