  1. Site and data hosting

The Site and data related to bloodsense services, including processed health data pertaining to US users, are hosted by Microsoft Corporation via Microsoft Azure services on servers located within the United States. Microsoft implements robust security measures compliant with industry standards, including those necessary for HIPAA compliance where applicable.

  1. Purpose of the site

The Site aims to present and provide access to the Bloodsense services. Bloodsense is a software solution using artificial intelligence to simplify and explain the content of lab analysis reports (blood, urine, stool), to facilitate user understanding.

Important: The Bloodsense service is an informational and explanatory tool. It is not a medical device. The information and explanations generated by Bloodsense do not constitute, under any circumstances, a medical diagnosis, medical interpretation of results, medical advice, treatment recommendation, or medical consultation. They do not replace, and should not delay, consultation with a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional, who are solely authorized to interpret your analysis results in their full medical context and make decisions concerning your health.

  1. Intellectual property

All elements constituting the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, source code, etc.) and the Bloodsense service (software, algorithms, structure of generated reports, etc.) are the exclusive property of SMC or its partners, and are protected by UK, US, and international intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the Site or service, by any means or process whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of SMC. Any unauthorized use will be considered an infringement and may be subject to legal action.

  1. Personal data protection

SMC is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and the confidentiality of their personal data, including health data. The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which details the types of data collected, the purposes of processing, legal bases, your rights, and how we ensure the security of your information.

We use a de-identification process for lab analysis data before it is processed by our AI: directly identifying information (like name) is detected and removed from documents before AI analysis.

SMC shall not be held liable for decisions made by the user based solely on the information provided by the service or the Site. More detailed limitations of liability concerning the use of the Bloodsense service are specified in our Terms of Service.
